Name the scale
Seven keys light up in a row, the orange root at the bottom. Which scale is it?
The 3rd above the root decides. Four semitones up is the major scale; three is the natural minor. Check the 6th and 7th if you want confirmation — minor flattens those too.
Careful: C major and A natural minor use the same seven keys. The orange root is what tells them apart.
root to 3rd: 4 semitones = major · 3 = natural minor
