Inside the chord
The notes of a chord have names: the ROOT (1), the 3rd and the 5th. Good players do not just know chord shapes — they know which finger is on which chord tone.
Why it matters: melodies target chord tones, bass lines walk between them, and every fancier chord you will learn later is described by them ("add a 7th", "lower the 5th").
In this level the app asks for a single tone: "the 3rd of Am" (that is C), or "the 5th of F" (that is C too!). Think recipe: 3rd = 3 or 4 semitones up, 5th = 7 up.
3rd = 3 or 4 up · 5th = 7 up
